Players4Good Club™ Bringing Athletes and Philanthropy Together
Giving Back
Recently LaMarr Woodley, who now plays for the Oakland Raiders, heard about a Michigan School District that was going to implement a $75.00/year fee for kids who wanted to play sports. This was the same school district that he lived in when growing up, and he graduated from Saginaw High School in 2003. He contacted the school district to see what the amount was that would be collected after collecting the fees. He decided to donate $60,000 to cover these fees so kids would not have to pay to play.
In today's world, too often the sensational takes precedence in the news, while many more athletes are quietly developing and supporting Philanthropic causes while challenging others to do the same.
It is our mission to celebrate these good role models and connect athletes with worthy causes and corporations looking to make a difference.
The stories are inspiring, the causes worthwhile and the good being done exponential. So if you are looking to join in, take a look at the stories here, learn about our matching process and...
